Self-ballasted LED lights on the safety requirements

October 6, 2009, The People's Republic of China National Standard Committee released the first G/TBT/N/CHN/691 bulletin, reporting the contents of the national standard "for general lighting with more than 50V Self-ballasted LED lights safety requirements," the Draft for Approval, the Bulletin of the comment period is 60 days.
"General Lighting 50V Self-ballasted LED lights above safety requirements," Draft for Approval tantamount to the adoption of the IEC 62560 "General Lighting 50V Self-ballasted LED lights above safety requirements," which involves the family and similar occasions, as a general lighting, and the stable ignition components integrated as one of the LED lights (Self-ballasted LED lights). Scope of power of 60 W below the rated voltage is greater than 50 V less than or equal 250 V, lamp for B15d, B22d, E27, E26, E14, GU10, GZ10, GX53rohs of Self-ballasted LED lights. It specifically provides for the following contents:
     1. Interchangeability: In order to ensure interchangeability, lights should be used in line with IEC 60061-1 requirements of the lamp and comply with IEC 60061-3 the amount of regulation, lamps and lamp holder between the moment value should not exceed the specified value.
     2. Accidental contact with live parts of the protection: light structural design should ensure that, in the shape of the auxiliary lamps are not equipped with a shell case, when the lamp is installed in line with IEC lamp data in a loose-leaf holder, you can not hit a lamp or in Light body metal parts, the basic insulation of the external metal parts and live metal parts. In addition to lamp-carrying metal parts on the outside lamp external metal parts should not be charged, or easy to live.
     3. Insulation resistance: Insulation resistance testing should be carried out in the humid box, put about 500 V DC voltage measured after 1 min. Lamp cap lamp current-carrying metal parts and the easy-touch parts (easy to test the light touches on the piece of insulation layer of metal foil packets) between the insulation resistance should not be less than 4 MΩ.
     4. Dielectric Strength: Insulation resistance test carried out immediately after the dielectric strength test. Test should be carried out in the humid box. Tests not allowed flashover (arcing) or the breakdown phenomenon.
Mechanical strength: the lights specified in the value of the anti-torque testing certification.
     5. Lampholder Temperature rise: the size of the holder for lamp surface temperature (over ambient temperature) should be replaced is not higher than the use of light generated by the holder temperature. Finished lamp lamp Δts temperature does not exceed 120 K. The Δts value is equivalent to the maximum value of 60 W incandescent lamp.
     6. Heat Resistance: The light should have sufficient heat resistance. To provide protection against electric shock protection, insulation materials, and the fixed live parts of insulating material components should be sufficiently heat-resistant
     7. Fire and flame: the fixed charged insulating parts and components to provide an electric shock protection, insulation of external components, should be able to withstand GB / T 5169.10 ~ GB / T 5169.13 of the hot wire test.
     8. Failure status: the use of light in a particular fault condition may occur, but the fault condition should not reduce its safety performance.
